About Us

The History Of Capstone Cellars

Capstone Cellars is a locally owned, family winery featuring bold, complex wines. Founded in 2003 by Roy & Sandys Bays and Joel & Kathleen McNally, Capstone Cellars was the first winery in Cowlitz County. In 2015, Debbie Luchau and Kirk Raboin, Roy's daughter and son-in-law, took over the family business. As the winemaker, Kirk carries Roy's passion for wines and continues to perfect the award-winning wines developed by Roy.

After moving from the first winery on Pacific Way to our current location in Rose Valley, Capstone Cellars is expanding to bring a tasting room and event space to the residents of Cowlitz County. We look forward to more people discovering and learning about our traditional winemaking process while being surrounded by family and friends.
